La ville est enclav\u00e9e autour de la fronti\u00e8re alg\u00e9rienne, fronti\u00e8res ferm\u00e9es suite \u00e0 l\u2019attentat de Marrakech en 1994. On y retrouve le traditionnel r\u00e9seau d\u2019irrigation et quelques pistes pour faire le tour de la r\u00e9gion. Au niveau logement, la m\u00e9thode la plus simple est plus ou moins chez l\u2019habitant, demi-pension g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement comprise pour 150-200dr\/nuit.
